a national service monument; i didnt notice it before..but if you look close, the front of the flag ( bottom pic ) has statues of different races, whereas the NS man is behind the flag. im guessing the significance is, NS protects and supports the country's ideals from behind :)

Well, today was quite fun. the bunks were awesome(come on, FIVE ceiling fans? beds with mosquito nets?!) and the rations were great(curry chicken?!) but we all know thats not always going to be true xD
did the IMT with ease...funny thing is the instructor kept telling anyone who had a shot that they were good shooters. i tried 3 times and he kept telling me i was " damn good " lmao :p thanks for the encouragement!(though i didnt miss any shots :x )
the lack of YJC spirit was again evident today when we were the lot with the smallest squeal in the auditorium.bleh.

band auditions for Teachers' Day performance lolz
tired..been having only 4 hours of sleep for the past few days...thank goodness for weekends..saving my soul.
BUT. today i went to watch Rush Hour 3 with glysen, jian hao, long, and peipei. damn funny.
Chris tucker : " i want to shave your armpit, pour honey all over you, and then act like a hungry bear for 2 weeks" . i think thats the exact line xD
